2. How to Request Deletion by Email

4. What Data Is Deleted

Upon receiving a valid deletion request, the following data associated with your Transparent Insurance Consultancy account is permanently deleted:

• Your in-app notification history and app preferences.

5. What Data May Be Retained

Transparent Insurance Consultancy is a document viewing application. Insurance policy records and documents shown in the app are uploaded and owned by your insurance agent on the InsuranceDesk platform, not created by you inside the app.

• Policy records held by your agent: these remain in your agent's own business records after your app account is deleted. To have those removed, contact your insurance agent directly.
• Legal & compliance records: anonymised logs or transaction records that we are required to keep under applicable Indian law may be retained for the legally required period.

6. Deletion Timeline

Account deletion requests are completed within 30 days of a verified request. Backup copies are purged in the normal backup rotation cycle, within 90 days at the latest.

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. To use Transparent Insurance Consultancy again afterwards, you would need to register a new account.
